At Chenchen Studio, we prioritize collaboration with suppliers who share our commitment to environmentally-friendly practices, reflecting our dedication to sustainability.
In our daily lives, intimate clothing often requires more frequent washing than outerwear, resulting in a shorter lifespan. Therefore, for intimate garments such as shirts, tops, dresses, and skirts, we place a strong emphasis on sustainable fabric sourcing. We strive to utilize natural, organic, and recycled materials, aiming for eco-friendly and ethical production practices.
Conversely, to enhance the longevity of wash-less garments like coats and jacket, we opt for durable materials such as polyester and nylon.
Limited Waste Design
At Chenchen Studio, we embrace a zero-waste design approach, focusing on creating patterns and designs that optimize material usage while minimizing offcuts and ensuring efficient fabric utilization.
To achieve this, we repurpose discarded pattern paper using recycled tapes, reserving new paper patterns for our final perfected designs. Additionally, we creatively reuse discarded calico by cutting small pieces from larger remnants and stitching them together to create innovative new samples.
By implementing these practices, we strive to reduce waste and contribute to a more sustainable fashion industry.
Energy Efficient Production
At Chenchen Studio, we embrace a zero-waste design approach, focusing on creating patterns and designs that optimize material usage while minimizing offcuts and ensuring efficient fabric utilization. In addition to our design practices, we are dedicated to reducing our carbon footprint through the adoption of renewable energy sources for our operations.
Our transition to renewable energy involves incorporating solar power, utilizing energy-efficient machinery, and adopting low-impact manufacturing processes. Furthermore, our specialists employ digital software CAD for layout optimization during clothing production, further enhancing our energy efficiency and minimizing waste.
By implementing these measures, we aim not only to minimize our environmental impact but also to play a part in fostering a more sustainable future for the fashion industry.
Biodegradable Packaging:
At Chenchen Studio, we are dedicated to minimizing our environmental impact, starting with our packaging materials. From garment bags to shipping bags, all our packaging materials are crafted from biodegradable or recyclable materials.
Our garment bags are designed with reusability in mind, allowing them to be used for separating light-colored garments or organizing clothing within wardrobes. We actively encourage our customers to recycle or reuse our packaging, underscoring our collective responsibility for the planet's well-being.
